Craft show demonstration

Ben was invited to install a thatching display at Sherborne museum in Dorset.

The display contained many tools and books donated by a retired thatcher from the local area.

The museum was open for the weekend whilst Ben thatched, visitors were welcome to ask any questions about the process.

Below are some pictures of a thatching demonstration at Holnest Country Fayre.

The fayre hosts a number of activities including a village of demonstrating crafts, horse and carts, steam engines and music.

The funds raised go to a charity called future roots, which helps to educate young people in farming and the country side.
